Pancake Day!

Happy Pancake Day to one and all! A little photo montage to show the progress of Pancake Day in the Gemma household. (And yes Pancake Day does indeed require capitalisation!)
Although all of those pictures show chocolate spread I hasten to add that I did also have the traditional lemon and sugar on most of them!
The wool for my hat arrived, a sort of pale lilacy colour which I am quite pleased with. Now, if only my beads would arrive I could get started. I think they have been lost in the post, surely it shouldn’t take from Thursday till gone today for a small packet of first class post to arrive? Anyway, I have sent a polite email asking when I should begin to panic, so we will see!

I had a grand total of 5 pancakes!! 2 savoury (ham cheese and ground black pepper) and three sweet (1 nutella and banoffee syrup, 1 nutella and honey and one old school sugar and lemon) Felt sick as a dog afterwards, but any excuse to pig out!! :)
Am impressed with that photo of the wool, looks like it belongs on a calendar or something :)

I’ll own up to 4 with the traditional lemon and sugar but I will also own up to using some of the batter for toad-in-the-hole, Flossy and I enjoyed both courses enormously ! Can’t wait for you to start your new knitting project, hurry up postman with those beads.
