I think it looks good. of course, being a librarian I’m now thinking ‘but what do you do with a series of books with different coloured spines?” I like the co-ordinated knick knacks as well!
I think so. I mean, it’s aesthetic and it keeps you fully occupied so that he can read the paper without lifting his feet over the hoover.
Love the look, as well!
It looks lovely. I say that as I look at my overcrowded bookshelf crammed with things that I had no immediate place for so, of course, I put them on the bookshelf.
I’m not sure if organising your books into colours really counts! However if you did this in your wardrobe I do believe that this would count!!!
They look really fab, i do have to say!
Gemma, this is just so impressive! I love the clean, orderly appearance and the colour coordination. You can come and tackle my bookcases any day!

I always love your photos. This one strikes a very soothing cord.I think you should set your seating area in a manner that gives a full view of the bookshelves. It’s very funsway a new term inspired by your work of art.Take the rest of the week off, you’ve earned it.

I would NEVER think of that. And it look so fabulous!
I’m too anal. I want my authors all together. But it does really, really look great.
I think it counts double – they look gorgeous!
Wow, colour c-ordination! My books are thankfully behind doors so no one can see the shame of the multiple piles and general mishmash!
Good Lord, what is happening!!!! Books in tidy order – don’t let mine see! xx
Of course it counts they look lovely

It’s so nice. I kike so much to see books like that. In my house is the opposite. I’m librarian but in my house is my husband who (dis)organize them.

That looks great! I’m already leaning over checking out my bookcase to start matching up some colors. That’s just fun to look at!
