… it is the taking part that matters.
Sadly Cardiff City lost on Saturday.
So G is now in mass mourning for the passing of his hopes and dreams! I however, had a fantastic day! Shame it was raining but all the same it was most pleasant. The atmosphere at Wembley is incredible! I know I said it after the semi-final but it really is and I wasn’t disapointed in going back it still lived up to the hype.
The boys played magnificently and as G said, at least Portsmouth is a team who don’t often win anything either.
See you next season boys. You did us proud.

I was thinking of you and your other half whilst watching the match and urging Cardiff to score. Glad you enjoyed the day despite the result.
It was a good game..as a neutral I really enjoyed it.Plus the fact that it was nice to see two teams different from the usual!

and heh, it isn’t that long till the next season starts and they get to do it all over again.
My worry is that my 9yr old is going to be singing the ayatollah for the next 80 odd years!!!!
My husband went, took the kids to the semis but decided the final was a man (grown up)thing!
