Early Morning Gratitude

March 2, 2009

Bulb planting passed me by this year due to my not terribly good mental state in November. So I am doubly grateful for sights like this this year.

This spread of delicious crocuses is amazing, the lilac seems to shimmer in the morning light making the ground cover glisten like the sea at home in Spain. Not that mine have ever looked as grand as this. I think this sort of spectacle is one that only develops over time. It certainly brightens up my morning when I pass them by on the way to work though!

Oh. Crocuses. So many. I’m almost speechless.
i can relate to what you say. there’s a bunch of stuff in the garden I ought to be doing and I can’t wrestle with my demons enough to get the energy.
