Many moons ago before I knitted or sewed or did anything like that I stumbled across a web site for scrapbooking and I felt the first crafty urge that I ever had. I bought papers, scissors, card and all sorts of other paraphernalia that was needed to create the perfect page. So I glued and I punched and I learned all about archival safe products, acid free paper and all other manner of things.
And then time moved on some more and I found that my fancy had turned to other crafts which were somewhat more portable and didn't seem to make as much mess as playing with paper and glue did. And so my paper and eyelets and ribbon bits sat in a chest doing nothing. Then a few weeks ago I was once again playing on the web looking for ideas for new banners for my blog and something else caught my eye!
Digital scrapbooking! No mess, no glue just pictures and pretty things that existed on a screen that one day you might print out and most importantly of all, no REAL LIFE STORAGE NECESSARY! A fact that G applauded as it seems that day by day our little house becomes more and more cluttered. So I played with banners as you may have noticed. And then a few weeks ago I wondered how it would look if I actually tried putting some pages together again. So I made this one.
And then I played a bit more
And then I became a bit obsessed
Ahhh yes, I'm a happy camper!
Can you share the site info with us? I have a friend that would go crazy with that!
beautiful, i love them!
& i agree, please do share the site – i’m sat bored at work all day and would loooove something like this!
oh and wow – i love the little icons/avatars that appear next to comments…
Oh I like that!

What a lovely idea, how clever !!
they are brilliant!
heeee – they look great!
I like the part about not having to store supplies….I have lived in this house for over 20 years and have no place left for another hobby. your pages are great.
Those pages are lovely! I have been tempted more than once by all that lovely scrapbooking stash available, but haven’t allowed myself to get started. Storing supplies is one thing, but finding enough time is another… I’ll stick to working myself through my fabric stash, for now anyway…
I’ve been meaning to tell you that I love your banner, by the way!
Oh, that looks like such fun! I used to do a lot of cardmaking – I know what you mean about the paraphanalia and the mess!
