Questions? Please!
Do you ever have those days where you literally can not be bothered with anything? Today was one of those. I woke up at about 8:30am when the gas man came to check our boiler. I had forgotten the appointment and opened the door in my so lovely pyjamas and sleepy head which was not a good look!
Once he left I made coffee and sat on the sofa. I watched my daily episode of the Gilmore Girls, which is being repeated on E4 here in the UK and then opened up season 2 of Sex and the City and proceeded to have a sofa day. I did get dressed, all be it in a tracksuit and that is really as exciting as my day has got!! I have done a little bit of crafting but didn't realise it was dark until I put it down to take pictures. I can't do pictures without decent sunlight, I don't know how people do!
I did find this lady's amazing blog when I was surfing the net though! I was blown away and have a desire to get the sewing machine out again! Just a matter of fabric though. I do have some Heather Bailey Freshcut fat quarters lying around somewhere so I'm thinking perhaps a small sofa quilt. Just need to pick a pattern now, something not too complicated that I get cross but just challenging enough to keep my mind occupied. It's a difficult decision!
So really folks, not much to tell you. Other than I am seriously running out of steam with Blogtober Fest. I have a small handful of ideas for posts but certainly not enough to keep me going through the rest of the month so I thought I would copy an idea that a few other bloggers have had and throw the floor open to questions. That is if you have any! I so hope you do, it would be rather sad for me to log on tomorrow morning to answer things and only have one from my Mother asking if I've eaten any fruit with G being away!
I’d have loved a sofa day today, as it was I managed to smash 3 things by 9am and it was a dreaded birthday too! Have you seen Amy Butlers web site this week? She has a rather cute new free quilt pattern, large hexagons and some fun wall art too.
Ok here are some questions:
- a few of your favourite British bloggers please – I don’t have nearly enough in my reader! Of any kind!
- can you post more about Spain and the time you spend there? Rifle through your photos!
- How did you and G meet? (I know I’m cheating. I asked you that already but you didn’t deliver!)
ok that’s a start!
Well, you’ve been doing so stellar on your weight loss, do you have any healthy recipes to share? Or, back to couch days, how about embracing that idea and telling us your top ten all time favorite movies/tv programs to watch on a couch day?
